SCO ARCserve/Open is available in two versions: SCO ARCserve/Open Lite and the full SCO ARCserve/Open release. The Lite version provides simple, comprehensive backup and restore of your SCO system. The full SCO ARCserve/Open product provides advanced backup and restore services including support for UNIX, Apple® Macintosh®, IBM® OS/2&$174;, Novell® NetWare®, and Microsoft® Windows® clients.

SCO ARCserve/Open provides many additional features required by system administrators to support mission critical servers, increasing network support, administrative control, performance, and data reliability. Unsupported features are ``grayed out'' (features appear but cannot be selected) in SCO ARCserve/Open Lite. If you do not currently have the full featured product, SCO ARCserve/Open, you can purchase a license from your SCO dealer.

SCO ARCserve/Open supports backup and restore of a server, along with the ability to back up remote clients via add-on connection licences. Client media is included for UnixWare 7, SCO UnixWare, and SCO OpenServer Release 3 and Release 5 systems, other UNIX Systems, Macintosh, OS/2, NetWare, and all platforms of Microsoft Windows, including Windows 3.x, Windows 95, and Windows NT®.
