Creating a Signed CAB File

You can create digitally-signed .CAB files for your Java classes by using the tools providing in the Cabinent Development Kit (in the CABDEVKT directory of the SDK) and the Code Signing Kit (available in the Active X SDK). Using CAB files for your classes speeds up downloading and makes installation more secure.

You can get all the tools needed for creating a .CAB files by downloading the ActiveX SDK from http://www.microsoft.com/activex/.

See the respective documentation included with the tool kits for complete information on using these tools.
