Anyone who has a collection of music on Cassettes will benifit greatly by having a list, or lists of the Titles along with the Artist and other details. Music-Master is an excellent way of keeping an organised record of your collection. You can easily add or amend any entry at any time, you can view, and print, lists in alphabetical order by either Artist or Title, or Numerically by Cassette number. When a new entry is added to Music-Master, it is automatically placed into it's position arranged in Artist order. The main list is where you view a complete listing of all the records, a status bar at the bottom of the screen gives you information on the number of records in your list and the name of the directory. This status bar can be switched on or off with the click of the mouse button. The Edit/Data Input screen is where you enter details of your collection. This comprises of Artist, Title, Cassette Number, Year and Notes. You can also browse through the records. The Status Line is also visable on the screen. You can choose which information to display in the main list by way of the Selection option in the View menu. From this menu you can also select the Background Colour, Typeface and size for the display of the main list. You can view, and print out lists in any of four formats as follows: 1) By Artist. Alphabetically by order of Artist. 2) By Title. Alphabetically by order of Title 3) By Number in Artist Order. Starts at 01 A (this is why the cassette numbers are entered with '0'in front of single numbers) This lists your collection in cassette number order with the Artist as the secondry item. So all of cassette Number One, side A will be listed with the Artists in alphabetical order. Side B will then be listed, again by order of the Artists on that side. (Note that "01 A" will have precedence over "01 a" (small"a") so all numbers should be entered with either all capital "A" or "B" or all small). Version 2.00 of Music-Master will resolve this. 4) By Number in Title Order. As above, but the listing is in order of Title.
