Query Multiple Search Engines Simultaneously

WebTurbo's powerful search function allows you to query the six most popular search engines at once using "smart queries" to quickly bring back more relevant results than if you used each search engine directly. WebTurbo identifies results delivered by each search engine and removes duplicates from the list.

Preview Web Content

When you click on an individual search result, enter a URL (Web site address), or select a bookmark, WebTurbo uses its hypersketch outline technology to rapidly deliver previews of the contents of the selected Web page. These previews, presented in an intuitive outline format, are not just hyperlink lists, or the first 100 characters on the page, but meaningful summaries of the page.

Browse the Web at the Preview Level

WebTurbo allows you to rapidly browse the Web at the preview level, letting you see the contents and links of a page in outline format in a fraction of the time it takes to load the entire page. When you find what you want, double-click and the full page appears.

Search and Browse at the Same Time

WebTurbo's side by side preview frame and page view frame lets you view your search results and previews while also viewing Web pages. Double-clicking on an item in the preview frame loads the underlying Web page in the page view frame. The preview frame is always visible as you view selected pages, so you don't lose your search results and previews, or forget which pages you've already seen.

Search Related Topics Simultaneously

Using WebTurbo's search function, you can submit searches on related topics simultaneously. For example, a query about two sub-topics of Stanford University, the Stanford orchestra and rowing teams, yields results for both, organized by sub-topic.

Organize and Save Search Results and Previews by Topic

WebTurbo organizes search results and previews into topic folders. For example, you can create a separate folder for each university you are interested in attending, with each folder containing search results and previews on the specific areas you of interest to you. Move between topic folders to quickly compare information between the universities. You can save the topic folders (with their search results and previews) and retrieve them later to browse further.
