Anvil Studio 
This program allows you to:

Record, play, compose, and edit standard multi-track MIDI music files,

Record, play and edit audio tracks,

Compose rhythm tracks with your own sampled percussion sounds,

Manage synthesizer Patch Libraries,
-
Practice piano exercises.
This program is organized like a book.
Each page of the book performs a different function.
Each page of the book has a tab at the bottom, with the page's name.
For example, this page's name is Intro.

mark the start of a chapter containing several pages.
When a chapter is opened, its tab looks like
and the tabs for pages in that chapter are shown to its right.
You can turn back to the previous page you were viewing
by pressing the
button in the lower left corner of the screen.
To get started, click on one of the tabs at the bottom of the screen.

To see a table of contents for the whole book, click the tab at the bottom of the screen that looks like
.

To play a song file, or to use your synthesizer in performance mode, click the Play tab.

To record, edit, or compose a song file, click the Record tab.
-
To experiment with various music toys, click the Toys tab.
-
To practice various music exercises, click the Practice tab.
-
To configure synthesizers, MIDI, or Audio Controllers, select the Synths tab.

If you encounter unfamiliar terms such as Track or Patch Library,
you can learn what they mean by clicking the Terms tab in the Synths chapter.
