Registry Editor Extensions Version 1.1a (1/27/96) DESCRIPTION ----------- The Registry Editor Extensions "extend" the Registry Editor included with Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0. A combo box is inserted into the Registry Editor which remembers the keys you have edited, and allows you to navigate back to them quickly. Once you've tried it, you won't want to edit the registry any other way. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS ------------------- Windows 95 and its minimum system requirements OR Windows NT 4.0 and its minimum system requirements FREEWARE -------- DC Software Design is pleased to offer the Extensions free of charge. If you like their quality and finesse, please consider our Windows consulting services for your next project. GET STARTED ----------- Run the Setup.exe program to install. Then double-click on RegEdit Extensions. See the help file for complete info. A small number of users have experienced the Setup message "Unable to start DDE communications with Program Manager." At this point, Setup has finished except for creating shortcuts. To create them yourself in Explorer, open the folder where you told Setup to copy the RegEditX files (default C:\RegeditX). Create the shortcuts to RegEditX.exe and RegEditX.hlp by dragging their icons to the destination folder or desktop.
