Learn why I should bother to plan

While none of us has a crystal ball to predict the future, all of us have dreams and goals. Conventional wisdom says that youÆre more likely to achieve your goals if you give them careful thought.
The extent to which you plan will depend on your personal style more than anything else. Some will want simply to plug in their hoped-for retirement age, then check whether theyÆre basically on track, or need to rethink some savings plans.
Others will want to create different scenarios with a multitude of events ù what if I get that inheritance? Add a new room? Have another child? Will we still be OK if we end up supporting our aging parents?
Of course, using Money to plan for a child in five years doesnÆt mean you have to have one. But using the Planner will help you sort out what that might mean to your finances, whether you want to take a brief vacation or leave the work force indefinitely, and whether you want to sell the sports car and buy the minivan right away, or down the road.
MoneyÆs Lifetime Planner can help you prioritize your dreams and make you more aware of your choices ù are you working toward your most important goals?
