Learn what happens if I miss a scheduled payment for my debt plan
If you miss one or more scheduled payments for your debt plan, you need to record it so that Money can recalculate your debt plan balances.
There are three ways you can tell Money about a missed payment:
- In the Bills place, skip that particular instance of the scheduled debt plan bill.
- In the Accounts place, edit the transaction to show a zero amount.
- In the Debt Reduction Planner, enter a later date for the next scheduled payment.
How?
1 On the
navigation bar (The strip at the top of the Money screen where you can click to go to the different areas in Money.), click
Planner.
2 At the top of the left pane, click the down-arrow
, and then click
Debt Reduction Planner.
3 In the upper-right of the screen, click Next to see the Include debt accounts in your plan screen.
4 At the bottom of the screen, click Edit Debt Info, and then enter a later date for Next payment date.
