Everything in Money is connected to everything else. Because your budget involves your monthly finances, itÆs composed of and contributes to other parts of your Money file.
This list summarizes where the Budget Planner gathers information from:
- Income place This place includes paycheck and other income amounts come from the Bills Calendar (Bills).
- Long-Term Savings Transfers to long-term savings or investment accounts in the Bills place are shown here.
- Occasional Expense Fund Transfers to Occasional Expense Fund accounts in the Bills place are shown here.
- Debt This place gets information from accounts for credit cards, loans, mortgage, and other debt in Accounts place, and from accounts in the Debt Reduction Planner.
- Expenses Recurring bill payments in the Bills place are automatically reflected here. If you use AutoBudget, it takes into account past transactions in the Account Register (Accounts place).
- Forecast This place includes all items listed above plus future transactions in the Account Register (Accounts place).
