If you make a loan to someone else, enter it in the Other Income place as income you receive from a loan. For more information, see Enter other income (not from my career).

Current and future loans that you make to someone are shown the Loans & Debt place. You'll also see the repayment amounts in the Monthly Cash Flow report.
