Learn how the Loan Worksheet relates to Loans & Debt

The Loan place (in the Lifetime Planner) shows the loans you currently have. If you're considering refinancing any loan, the Loan Worksheet (in the Decision Center) can help.

This worksheet helps you compare the two loans. Follow the instructions on the screen to enter the loan details. The worksheet will calculate the initial cost, loan amount, total interest paid, and principal + interest totals for 3, 5, and 10 years from now. You can use this information to help you choose the loan that best meets your financial goals.

If you choose to refinance, you can click the Refinance a Loan button in the Loan Worksheet to create the new loan account in Money and close the existing loan account.
