Your Financial Home Page collects pertinent and up-to-date financial information in one place. The information contained on the Money Home screen is always changing to reflect your current financial situation and interests. You can choose what type of information is displayed and where that information comes from.
Depending on your customizations, your Financial Home Page can include any or all of the following:
- Profiler Results Links tailored to your needs that will take you to the places in Money that can help you manage your finances most effectively.
- Chart of the day Money cycles through different charts, showing a new chart each day. You can specify what charts Money displays.
- Tip of the day Money gives you a different piece of information every day that can help you use Money more effectively.
- Account balances Money displays the current balances for all of your favorite, spending, and/or open accounts.
- Summary of your investments If you track your investments in Money, this shows you the latest price information received from the Internet.
- Announcements and headlines from the Internet Money looks for information that includes announcements from financial institutions (Banks, brokerage houses, and credit card providers.) or Microsoft and newly-posted articles on the subjects you want to read about from the publishers you select. As Money finds new information on the Internet, it displays a link to corresponding Web site.
- Advice about your file from Advisor FYI (Financial Suite only) Money displays notifications and advice that you ask for on subjects that you select. You can receive information concerning your account balances, your spending habits, important dates, investment prices, your budget, and more.
- Potential problems (Financial Suite only) Money alerts you when it detects potential problems with your accounts. This alert is based on analysis of current information in your Money file.
In addition to customizable information, Money displays important reminders on the Home screen:
- Bill Reminder Money notifies you of any upcoming, overdue, or automatically-entered bills and deposits that youÆve scheduled.
- Monthly Report reminder Money notifies you when your Monthly Report is ready. The Monthly Report summarizes and compares your finances for the previous calendar month.
- Statements to Read reminder Money notifies you when you have online statements (Electronic lists of the transactions that have cleared your financial institution. You can use these lists to update your account records electronically so that the information in your Money file is up-to-date with the account information at your financial institution.) that you have not yet reconciled with your Money file.
- Miscellaneous reminders Money includes some reminders for activities that do not occur on a regular basis and do not have an immediate impact on your financial situation. For example, Money reminds you to set up an account if you have not already done so or to take the Money tour.
To get to Your Financial Home Page, just click Money Home at the far left of the navigation bar (The strip at the top of the Money screen where you can click to go to the different areas in Money.).
