Are you planning to retire early or do you want to take another year of school before you begin your career? By default, Money assumes your career will end when you retire, but you can adjust your career start and end dates in the Career place.

1  Go to the Career place for you or your partner in the Lifetime Planner.

How?

1  On the navigation bar (The strip at the top of the Money screen where you can click to go to the different areas in Money.), click Planner.

2  Click Lifetime Planner.

3  In the left pane, click Income.

4  Click either <Your> Career or <Your PartnerÆs> Career.

2  Click the line in the table that you want to change.

3  In the middle of the screen, click Edit.

4  Change the start or end date by clicking the down-arrow   next to the date shown and clicking a new event from the list. If you click On a specific date, enter the new start or end date.

I'm already retired but want to continue working. What should I do here?

1  Click End career in the table and click Edit.

2  In the Ends field, click the down-arrow  , then click your name, and then click Dies.

This means that your career salary will continue through the rest of your life.
