Add a new loan in the Lifetime Planner

1 Go to Loans & Debt.

1 On the navigation bar (The strip at the top of the Money screen where you can click to go to the different areas in Money.), click Planner.

2 Click Lifetime Planner.

3 In the left pane, click Loans & Debt.

2 At the bottom of the screen, click New Loan.

3 Follow the instructions on the screen.

Use the default values that Money suggests if you donÆt know the specifics for a loan. You can edit the loan later to make it more accurate.

Current loans that you borrowed are listed in both the Loan & Debt place and the Accounts place in Money.

Future loans are listed in the Loans & Debt place (but not in the Accounts place).

Use the steps shown above, but specify the maximum interest rate you expect to pay as the rate for the loan. DonÆt use the lower introductory rate.
