Use approximate or detailed investment tracking
When you create an investment account, Money asks you to enter an estimated value for your investments. This estimated value is reflected in the Account Manager, the Investment Portfolio, and the Details view for the investment account. If you prefer, you can track every buy and sell transaction you make so your financial records are more accurate.
To track your investments in detail:
Once you've added transactions to an account, their value replaces the value you originally estimated for the investment account (which you can view in Account Details).
How do I view my investment holdings?
On the navigation bar, click Investments, and then click Holdings View in the left pane.
Once IÆve added a transaction, can I switch back to approximate tracking?
No. Once you've added a transaction for an investment account, Money will continue to track that account in detail ù you can't switch between detailed and approximate account tracking.
