Match an E-bill to a recurring bill in Money
Check for new E-bills (Bills you receive and pay over the Internet. Same as electronic bill.) by following these steps:
Money connects to the Internet and takes you to the logon page of your E-bill providerÆs Web site. If you are using MoneyÆs internal Web browser (The browser that opens within Money to allow you to view Web pages without having to leave the Money program.) and your E-bill provider supports automatic updates in Money, as soon as you log on, Money notifies you if there are new E-bills present. If not, you will need to check for new E-bills yourself.
When you download a new E-bill that is not matched to one of your recurring bills, Money starts the Set up E-bills wizard to help you match new E-bills to bills set up in Money, helping you create new ones if they do not already exist.
What happens to my bill in Money after it gets matched to an E-bill?
As soon as the match is made, Money changes the billÆs recurring payment method to E-bill, updates the next occurrence of the bill with current E-bill information, and changes its transaction status to Updated.
Do I have to match my E-bills to bills in Money?
No. You can cancel the Set up E-bills wizard at any time and all of the matches made prior to canceling the wizard will remain intact.
If I donÆt match an E-bill now, will I be able to match it in the future?
Yes. Depending on your E-bill provider you will get the opportunity to match unmatched E-bills either every time you log on to your E-bill providerÆs Web site, or the next time the E-bill is delivered.
