Install Microsoft Network (MSN)
If you don't have an Internet Service Provider (ISP) (An Internet Service Provider performs the actual connection to the Internet for you. Typically, your ISP will give you a phone number to dial using your modem.) or you just want to try the internet to see how you like it, Money offers you two hours of free Internet access a month for up to one year with Microsoft Network.
To install MSN on Windows 95:
1 Insert your Money 99 CD.
2 On the Windows
taskbar (The bar (usually located the bottom of your screen) that contains the Windows Start button.), click
Start, and then click
Run.
3 In the Run dialog box, enter D:\msn\setup.exe.
D: is the drive letter associated with your CD ROM drive.
4 Click OK.
To install MSN on Windows 98:
1 On the Windows
taskbar (The bar (usually located the bottom of your screen) that contains the Windows Start button.), click
Start, point to
Settings, and then click
Control Panel.
2 In the Control Panel, click Add/Remove Programs.
3 In the Components list on the Windows Setup tab, check Online Services, click OK, and then follow the instructions for completing the installation, you may be prompted for your Windows 98 CD.
4 After the installation is complete, on the
taskbar (The bar (usually located the bottom of your screen) that contains the Windows Start button.), click
Start, point to
Run, point to
Program Files, point to
Online Services, and click
The Microsoft Network.
Important!
If you received your copy of Microsoft Money with your computer or you downloaded it from the Internet, the above procedures will not work. This MSN offer is not valid with these versions of Microsoft Money.
