Follow through on my budget

Once youÆve created your budget, follow through on it:

• Pay yourself first Make sure youÆve scheduled your monthly contributions to debt reduction and savings so Money can remind you to make the payments or transfers along with the rest of your bills.
• Check your progress Watch the status information in the lower-left corner of the Budget Planner to know how you're doing with your budget. Also, once a month or so, go to the Reports place and print the How IÆm Doing on My Budget report. This report compares the amount you spend in each category with the amount you budgeted.
• Check your Budget Forecast Be sure to look at your Budget Forecast to make sure youÆve budgeted enough to cover expenses in future months as well.
