Edit details of a scheduled bill or deposit

1 On the
navigation bar (The strip at the top of the Money screen where you can click to go to the different areas in Money.), click
Bills.
2 In the left pane, click Set up Bills & Deposits.
3 In the list, click the
recurring transaction (A payment, deposit, transfer, or investment purchase that is set up in Bills & Deposits to occur with a specific frequency. Upcoming instances of this transaction appear in the Pay Bills place.) you want to edit.
4 At the bottom of the screen, click Edit Details.
5 In the Edit All Future Transactions dialog box, make your changes.
To change the following options, in the lower-left of the dialog box, click Scheduling Options.
- Payment method The way in which you plan to make this payment. For example, if you plan to make this as an electronic payment, you would select Electronic Payment (Epay) from the list. If you plan to print a check to make this payment, you would select Print.
- Frequency How often does this transaction occur. An Apay (An electronic payment that you set up with your financial institution where funds are automatically withdrawn from your account and a payment sent to the payee whether or not you connect to your financial institution. The payment is recorded in your Account Register the first time you connect within thirty days of the due date. Same as automatic payment.) requires a frequency in the range Every other week to Yearly.
- Amount is usually the same Check this box if this transaction is usually for the same amount. Common examples of these types of recurring transactions are rent, car payments, and paycheck deposits.
- Enter this into my register automatically Check this box if you want Money to enter this transaction into your Account Register automatically when it occurs. This can be helpful for payments and deposits that are withdrawn from or posted to an account automatically.
- This payment will end Check this box and enter the corresponding information if you know either when this payment will end or how many payments you plan to make. Examples of these types of payments are car loans or paychecks for fixed term contract employment.
These changes will affect all future occurrences of this recurring transaction.
