Download market prices using Online Quotes

You can download prices for a stock (Shares of ownership in a corporationÆs earnings, assets, and liabilities. Stockholders may receive dividends and can generally sell their shares at any time.) or mutual fund (A collection of stocks, bonds, and other securities managed by investment professionals but owned by the mutual fundÆs shareholders. When you buy shares in a mutual fund, your money is combined with other investorsÆ money.) by entering the market-approved symbol for the investment in Investment Details.

1 On the navigation bar (The strip at the top of the Money screen where you can click to go to the different areas in Money.), click Investments.

2 Click Online Quotes on the bottom of the screen.

3 Review the list of stocks, bonds, or mutual funds. Make sure you have selected all the investments for which you want to download market quotes the next time you connect. (Selected investments will have a check mark in the box to the left of the investment name.)

4 When all your instructions are ready, click Call.

Money will then automatically update the prices in your portfolio, and make a record of the date and price in the Update Price box, which you can view by clicking Update Price in the Investment Portfolio.

How do I know if I have the correct market symbol?

Right-click the investment in the Investment Portfolio, click Go to Details, and then view the Symbol field.

If you don't know the symbol, click Find Symbol. Money will connect to Investor and try to find the symbol for you.
