Create a new payee

In Money, a payee is any individual or business money goes to or comes from. By tracking payees, you can see how much of your money is going to a specific business or person.

You can keep information such as the address, phone number, and transaction history of each payee in Categories and Payees.

1 On the navigation bar (The strip at the top of the Money screen where you can click to go to the different areas in Money.), click Categories.

2 In the left pane, click Payees.

3 At the bottom of the screen, click New.

4 In the Name box, type a name for the new payee.

Can I enter a payee from the Account Register?

You can also enter a new payee by simply typing the payee name in the transaction. Money automatically adds it to the list in the Categories and Payees place.
