Why would I close an account? Close an account when you are not using the account anymore but you still want to view the transactions. When you close an account, it will no longer appear in your account lists or be included in your Money reports, but you can view account information in the Account Manager.

What's the difference between closing and deleting an account?
When you close an account, it is not permanently deleted from your Money file. Although it no longer shows up on your Home screen, but you will still have access to all the information in that account. When you delete an account, itÆs permanently deleted from your Money file.
