My Computer area

PhotoFamily employs unique AlbumShelf & Album management, yet you can still manage your images in your familiar Windows Explore way. PhotoFamily provides My Computer area for you.

In the main UI, My Computer area is on the left, below the Album Management area:

My Computer mode

If you have installed Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher version, you can click any of the items on the above picture to see its name.

You can see a directory tree here in the My Computer area, just like what you usually see in Window Exploring, and here you can do almost everything that you usually do in Window Exploring, such as Copy, Cut, Paste, drag-and-drop, etc. Yet all the PhotoFamily tools on toolbars can still function.

Right-click any of the folders in My Computer area, a menu will pop up with following item:

New Sub-Folder ---- Create a new sub-folder in current folder
Rename ---- Change the name of current folder
Delete ---- Move current folder to Recycle Bin
Find ---- Call out Find dialog box. See also Find Images
Slide Show ---- Show all the images in current folder in full screen mode as a Slide Show
