Acquire Images

    PhotoFamily is TWAIN-compliant, so it can acquire images directly from scanner(or digital camera).

    Make sure your scanner is properly terminated and turned on, and the original has been put into scanner. Then click Acquire in File menu, your scanner will begin scanning at once and send the scanned image to your current Album.

    To further configure the Acquire parametres, you can click Acquire Setup in File menu, a dialog box will appear:

    First you have to Select Source, that is, to choose a Scanner Driver---if you have several Scanner Drivers or Scanners.

    Then you should choose Image type, Image Resolution and Scan Area from the three pull-down lists. Generally they are all you need to decide before scanning, so in fact you don't need to do any more configuration with Scanner Driver if you don't have any special requirement. If you do need to do further adjustment with Scanner Driver, check the Check Enable Driver UI checkbox above, the Scanner Driver User Interface will be shown before scanning, so that you can further configure the Scanner Driver.

    After you have made all the choices, press button to save your settings.
