Usrmgr.exe: User Manager for Domains

Use this GUI-based tool to manage security for Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Professional and Microsoft® Windows NT® version 4.0 domains, member servers, and computers. It enables you to manage a Windows NT 4.0 domain from a Windows 2000 computer.

Note

For Windows 2000 domains, member servers, and Windows 2000 Professional computers, use Active Directory directory service and the other Windows 2000 administrative tools instead.

With User Manager for Domains you can:

• Select the domain or computer to be administered.
• Create and manage user accounts.
• Create and manage groups.
• Manage the security policies.
