Interactive Session


    To run an interactive session

  1. At the command prompt, type rcmd \\server_name.
  2. This establishes a command session with the computer specified in server_name.

  3. Enter multiple commands, if necessary.
  4. Press CTRL+BREAK to quit the session and exit Remote Command Service.
  5. If a program is running on the target at the time the session is closed, the program will be closed, except for spawned, detached processes (see Remote Command Limitations).

  6. Type exit to quit the remote command shell and break the session.
