Server-only: This tool is included in the Windows 2000 Server Resource Kit only.
This tool verifies that a two-node cluster is set up properly. The minimum requirements for a server cluster are:
Cluster Verification Utility includes two tests: Configuration Verification and Shared SCSI Drive Diagnostic Verification.
Caution
This test will destroy data on all disks on the shared bus.
Important
This tool writes to drive A: on each node of the cluster being tested. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that these drives contain a writable floppy disk before running the tool.
Files Required
The files for this tool are installed by the Windows 2000 Resource Kit setup program into the Resource Kit\cvu folder on your hard disk. Cluster Verification Utility must be installed separately from the Resource Kit, using its own setup program.
