Using ClusRest
To run ClusRest
- Use NtBackup, a component of the Windows 2000 operating system, to perform a cluster restore on a node of the cluster.
This deposits the quorum data on the node's disk drive. The quorum data must be placed on the disk by NtBackup prior to running ClusRest.
- At the command prompt, run clusrest.
This causes the quorum disk to be restored to the state of the backup.
- Reboot the computer.
The cluster should be restored and running.
