This event record indicates that WINS could not read the value of the VerifyInterval entry from the registry. WINS set the VerifyInterval entry to its default value.
In the registry, check the VerifyInterval entry of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WINS\Parameters subkey. Correct the value of the entry, if necessary.
