The Group Policy Reference includes:

Security policies

in the Computer and User Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings folder. These policies appear by default when you open Group Policy.

Windows 2000 Group Policies

including most of the Group Policies in the Administrative Templates folders. These policies are created by the System.adm file that loads when you open Group Policy.

Internet Explorer policies

in the Computer and User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer folder. These policies are created by the Inetres.adm file that loads when you open Group Policy.

NetMeeting policies

in the Computer and User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\NetMeeting folder. These policies are created by the Conf.adm file. To see these policies, you must add Conf.adm to Group Policy.

Corrections to the Explain Tab

The Group Policy Reference includes the most current information available about Group Policy settings. In a few cases, this information corrects errors or omissions on the Explain tab for the Group Policy settings.
