The first step in creating an Office Layout workflow is to create a new document based on a General Diagramming template.

1. On the File menu, click New. Expand the General Diagramming folder, and select the Office Layout (Imperial).igr template. Click OK to create the document.

2. On the Main toolbar, click the Zoom In command. Click once in the middle of the drawing sheet.

3. On the Main toolbar, click the Place Doubleline command.

On the Draw toolbar, click and hold the Line/Arc Continuous command   to display the Place Doubleline command.

4. Use the Place Doubleline command to draw a rectangular room approximately 12' by 9.'

5. On the Main toolbar, click the Zoom Area command . Place the first point to the left top of the room. Place the second point to the right and below the room.
