- Click the Zoom Area command or use the IntelliMouse to zoom the area
around the printer.
- In the Cables folder in the Symbol Explorer,
drag the Peripheral Cable symbol onto the drawing sheet.
After you drag the cable symbol, it becomes a connector with
attribution.
- Click the cable so that it is highlighted.
- Move the pointer to one of the connector end
points (black square).
Press and hold, and move the mouse to modify the connector.
Release the button to place a vertex.
- With the pointer still over the connector end
point, hold and press the end point to connect to a key point on the printer symbol.
Key points appear as light
gray circles on the corners and midpoints of the symbol border. A gray key point becomes a
target point (red point) when you connect to it.
