Note For a demonstration of the following steps, click the Show Me button.

1. In the Symbol Explorer, expand the Network folder; then click the Printers - Plotters folder.

2. In the Printers folder, drag the Designjet Printer genr3013 symbol to the drawing sheet.  
   
   When you click a symbol on the drawing sheet, you can see the attributes for the symbol in the Attribute Viewer. You can add values for these attributes.

When a network equipment symbol is highlighted, a green circle will be displayed in the lower-left corner, representing the position used when you move the symbol. You can move the symbol by clicking anywhere inside of the symbol border and pressing and holding as you drag the symbol to a new position. If you click on the black square scale handles while pressing and holding, you rescale the symbol dynamically while you drag.

3. Click one of the black squares on the border around the symbol and drag to scale the symbol to approximately 2 1/2 inches.

4. To move the printer, first click on the border around the symbol and drag the symbol.

When the green circle appears on the border around the symbol, you can move the symbol. Click anywhere inside the highlighted border and drag the symbol to the upper-right corner of the drawing sheet.
