To disable SmartScan:

  1. From the Internet Scanner main window, select PolicyEdit to display the Select Policy dialog box.

    Double-click the policy icon to display the Policy Editor.

    —OR—

    Select the policy icon and click OK to display the Policy Editor.

  2. In the Policy Editor’s folder tree, go to Common SettingsNT Logon Sessions and clear the Enable SmartScan check box.

  3. From the Policy menu, select Save to apply the setting to your policy.
