NetBus
NetBus is a backdoor program for Windows 95 and Windows NT that, according to the NetBus Web page,
will let an attacker perform the following actions to your machine:
- Open/Close the CD-ROM.
- Display a BMP/JPG image.
- Swap mouse buttons.
- Start an application.
- Play a .wav audio file.
- Control the mouse.
- Show different kinds of messages.
- Shut down Windows.
- Download a file.
- Go to a URL destination on the Internet.
- Listen for and send keystrokes.
- Capture the screen image.
- Increase and decrease the sound-volume.
- Record sounds from the microphone.
- Upload a file.
- Make click sounds every time a key is pressed.
If discovered, NetBus should be removed immediately.
