Community Name
The Community Name is used by SNMP for authentication purposes, and is similar to a simple password. An SNMP
agent responds to an SNMP command only if the command includes a valid community
name. When a computer receives a request for information and the request does
not contain a valid community name, the SNMP service sends an authentication
failure trap message to the trap destinations for the community name. Community
names are case-sensitive and can contain any alphanumeric characters.
