Check or Attack Name: rstatd

The rpc.rstatd service was found. The rstat daemon gives an attacker information about the host, including when the machine was last booted, how much CPU it is using, how many disks it has, and how many packets have reached it.

If the rpc.rstatd service isn't needed on your network(s), disable it by commenting it out of the inetd.conf file or the appropriate RC file.
