Check or Attack Name: 3270 mapper

The RPC 3270_mapper service has been detected. Clients wishing to communicate with some mainframes are required to use a 3270 terminal emulation program, which under many implementations requires this service to be running. The 3270_mapper registers with the RPC portmapper as program 100013.

This service should be disabled if either 3270 is not used or your implementation does not require its use.
