Description: | An unpatched version of PowerPoint has been detected. The potential misuse of a PowerPoint 95/97 feature allows an application to be run from within PowerPoint without warning the user. The problem can occur in web browsers, such as Internet Explorer, that support the viewing of PowerPoint files from within the web browser. |

Remedy: | Upgrade PowerPoint or Microsoft Office 97. Select one of the following options:
After you install either the Service Release or the standalone fix, you will be prompted before you activate a potentially dangerous link from within PowerPoint. Users who don't want to be prompted about this risk can turn off the new warning from within PowerPoint by disabling Macro Virus Protection from the Tools/Options dialog box. |
