Babel Encryption Utility Registration Information

Babel is shareware, with a registration cost of $15.00.

As mentioned in the "babel_i.txt" file, U.S. export regulations prohibit the
export of encryption software with a key length of more than 40 bits 
(including making such software available for download on the Internet).  In
order to not run afoul of this regulations, the downloadable (International) 
version of Babel is limited to a key of 3 characters (24 bits).

U.S. users who register their copy of Babel will receive a copy of the U.S.
version of Babel, which has a key length of up to 16 characters (128 bits).


                        Benefits of Registration

As a registered user, you will receive:

1. Early notification of any future enhancements to Babel.
2. A copy of the 128-bit key version of Babel (U.S. users only).
3. My undying gratitude.



                            How to Register

1. Print out the registration form (rform.txt, it came in the .zip file).
2. Fill out the registration form.  Be sure to include your mailing address,
	so that I can verify whether or not you are a U.S. resident.  Also,
	be sure to include your e-mail address so that I can e-mail you the
	128-bit key version of the program, and keep you informed of future
	enhancements to Babel.
3. Enclose a check or money order for $15.00 (U.S. funds) payable to:
