Game Instruction
The purpose of Storm is to remove all the blocks and meet the 5 required
goals. If all the goals are met then you are advanced to the next
level with higher difficult.
The game starts with a 10 x 10 grid. To remove blocks you first tap on
a block. This will highlight all the blocks that can be removed from
this move. Each move is considered a combo. A combo contains one or more
blocks. On the bottom of the screen the current combo is displayed with
the total points. If you want to remove this combo you will need to tap
on the any one of the selected blocks. This will remove the combo.
To deselect the current combo just select another block.
Goals
Here are the five goals that you must meet to advance to the next level.
1) Largest Combo: The largest number of blocks that are removed in one move
at any point during the current level.
2) Number of Singles: A block that is not connected to any other blocks of
the same shape is called a "Single". You can remove Singles at any time, but
there is a -100 point penalty for each Single that is removed. To satisfy
this requirement, the user can only remove the number of Singles specified
(or less). If the user removes all of the blocks in the current level
without removing any Singles, a bonus of 1000 is added to your score.
3) Big Column Bonus: Whenever all of the remaining blocks are removed
from a column, you will receive a Column Bonus. The more columns that can be
removed in a single move, the larger the Column Bonus. If the Big Column
Bonus requirement for a level is 3, the user must remove 3 Columns in a
single move at some point within that level to satisfy this requirement.
4) Total Combos: Each time you remove a group of blocks (of any size) this
counts as a Combo. To satisfy this requirement, you must do less moves than
the number of combos allowed.
5) Score: This requirement is the total points that the user has scored for
the current level. This includes points for combos, column bonuses and
penalty points for Singles.
Check Goals
At the time you can check the current level goals by selecting the "Check"
button. This will display the goals and tells you which one you have met
and which one you still need.
