GAME FEATURES ============= - Day and Night Mode - User selectable start level. - User selectable base damage tolerence. - Multiple enemy weapons variations for more challenge or frustration. - Status Report (User selectable). - Bonus report (User selectable). - Auto Repair (User selectable). - Earn Repair points to repair damaged bases. - Repair to damaged bases can be done either manually or automatically. - World Wide inComing High Score Tally. 2. THE GAME ======== The alien is advancing onto Earth, their only interest is victory. They have launched a massive attack onto major military base. You are given the assignment to protect the Base. Your only weapon is the Super Gun. Launch your explosive ammo and detonate them in the sky to destroy incoming alien's missiles. You have limited ammo at "\ your disposal, so use it wisely. The number of ammo you have is indicated below the Super Gun. As you managed to counteract each of the enemy attack, they will become angrier. Each subsequent attack will be more intense than the last. Watch out for enemy report. The central Gun computer can only control 5 ammo at any one time, and you can only detonate the ammo above the safety height. Each Barrack and Gun base can take a maximum of 3 hits before it is destroyed. 'Damage indicator' is located below each base. The maximum hit is selectable at the start of the game. Be prepared... this battle will last day and night. SCORING ~~~~~~~ You score points for each of the alien's missile that you destroyed. Dummy - 0 pts. Standard - 10 pts. Hide & Seek - 30 pts. Star burst - 40 pts. Persistent - 50 pts. After each successful counterattack, you are rewarded by the following bonuses. 5 points for each ammo that is left unused. 100 points for each base that is intact. If the base is damaged, you get a prorated points. For every 3000 points you scored, you earn repair points. The repair points can be used to repair damaged base either manually or automatically. One repair point is required to repair each hit the base sustained. Destroyed bases are not repairable, and repair can only be done at the end of each round. 3. TO PLAY ======= To play, start a NEW game. Select the start level and Max Hits. The MENU commands are as follows : COMMANDS ~~~~~~~~ - NEW GAME : Play a new game. Select the New Game Settings and select OK to start a new game. Select CANCEL if you do not want to start a new game. New Game Settings ================= START LEVEL : Control which level you want to start the game from. MAX HITS : Select how much damage each base can sustain before it is destroyed. - PREFERENCES : Game settings. STATUS REPORT : When selected, a status report of the new level will be presented to you. It will report on enemy weapons, enemy attack size and numbers. Summary description on the enemy weapon is available as well. BONUS REPORT/MANUAL REPAIR : When selected, a bonus report at the completion of each level will be presented. This screen allows you to repair any damage base using Repair points that you have accumulated. If this screen is not enabled, auto repair will be done for you. Note: If you want a continuous flow of the game, do not select any of the options here. WORLD WIDE inComing HIGH SCORE TALLY ==================================== A World Wide inComing High Score will be maintained at : http://home.pacific.net.sg/~kokmun/incoming/incoming.htm To qualify, you need to score at least 8000 points. If you qualify, select High Scores Menu and select "Enter the WW High Score Tally". Note down the information on the screen. E-mail me at kokmun@pacific.net.sg with the following information. 1.
