On-Time-Rx(r) Medication Reminder - Read Me First (for On-Time-Rx(r), which you are reading now...) This software upgrade will allow corrections to be made to any Log entry which indicates a drug or event was missed - in error. This can occur when a dose was actually taken but a response was not recorded within the 1 hour 'active' window. The new Log now displays a Y, N, M or C for each event. Y = Yes, the drug was taken or task was completed N = No, the event was cancelled or purposely not done M = Missed, there was no response to the alarm C = Changed, the Log entry was changed to correct a "missed" entry If a dose was taken, but the Log says "M" in error, the "M" can be changed. Tap the incorrect entry to select and edit the Log Detail. (Do NOT change the "M" if a dose was actually missed.) Tap the Taken: or At: [Not Set] box to enter the approximate time that the dose was actually taken or the task was done. Tap [Done] and the "M" changes to a "C" on the Log. Use the Reason dropdown to select one if desired. This download .zip file contains: OTRx.prc v1.2 and this revised ReadmeV12.txt (along with all information that was previously sent with OTRx.prc v1.1 and ReadmeFirst.txt) The OTRx.prc file in this archive is the complete On-Time-Rx(r) application. The entire program can be fully utilized "Free" for a 30 day Trial Demo. This software is designed for people whose primary focus for using this device is to take medications properly. For this purpose, we have reassigned the hard buttons to provide quick access to this application: Calendar button > starts On-Time-Rx(r) Once On-Time-Rx(r) is running, the remaining buttons serve these functions: (L-R ) Phone button > opens HandyShopper To Do button > opens ToDoToday List Memo button > opens 911 Display Data If you do not need this simplified and quick access, Go to the device Preferences - tap the dropdown and tap Buttons. Select default settings or simply reassign buttons as you prefer. As a BONUS, we've included: HandyShop.prc v1.7 HS Readme.txt Keyboard/US Visor.prc Keyboard/US Palm.prc System_MIDI_Sounds.prc ("bugle" alarms Freeware) NOTE: When you first load On-Time-Rx(r) into your hand held computer, we recommend that you also load HandyShop.prc at the same time, since it appears on our Menu and we have assigned a hard button to access it as a part of our whole package. Feel free to beam this OTRx Demo to as many family and friends as you like. This can be done for as long as the OTRx software resides on your PDA - whether it is a registered copy or an 'expired' Demo. To Register and unlock your Free Demo, go to: www.ontimerx.com. If you wish to continue using On-Time-Rx(r) after the 30 day "Free" trial has expired, you must purchase a Registration Unlock Key. No Data Will Be Lost - It will be as if "time stood still"... Any data that was entered on any of the screens during the trial period will be retained (unless there has been a hard reset). When you receive a notification of receipt of payment, you will also receive the Unlock Key. This Key (a numeric code) can be entered at any time... right away or months later. Once an Unlock Key has been successfully entered, the On-Time-Rx(r) application is registered and is yours to use and enjoy as long as you like. As a registered user, you are also entitled to the password for the Main Screen Banner. This Banner ("Simple Solutions for Complex Problems") can be edited to better fit your needs. You can display: "Your name and phone or address" "Tap 911=my medical info" "RED button=my medical info" (Put a spot of red nail polish on Memo hard button-on far right) Simply email us at: ontime@ontimerx.com and request the password. You can still beam the 30 day Demo - to anyone with a Palm OS( hand held device using version 3.1 or higher. (This sends the OTRx software Only. None of your data will be transferred.) You can also beam the other .prc files in this .zip file. The Handy Shopper v1.7 is a very useful Freeware program that works nicely with On-Time-Rx(r). Use it to keep a permanent list of all OTC items, healthcare needs, and cosmetics that you buy at your pharmacy, grocery store, or wherever you shop frequently. To install HandyShopper from the unzipped file, double click on HandyShop.PRC to open the Palm Install Tool, then Hot-sync it into your PDA with the OTRx.prc file. The "Phone" hard button (2nd from left) will be assigned to display Handy Shopper when On-Time-Rx(r) is open. Help and suggestions for Handy Shopper uses are found on the TIPS buttons or in the Shop.htm file. Enjoy! The Palm Portable Keyboard and the Visor Stowaway Keyboard work well with On-Time-Rx(r) If you have a lot of medical history to enter, it is much quicker to use a full-sized keyboard. Hot-sync the included driver software and you can try one before you buy one - at fine retail stores everywhere. The "bugle calls" are fun alternatives to the standard alarm selections included on your PDA. If you want to try some of these, hot-sync the System Midi Alarms.prc file. This will expand your alarm options and possibly allow you to really annoy your friends. If you like On-Time-Rx(r) and find that it helps you remember to take your medications routinely, please mention this the next time you talk with your doctor. If more doctors are aware that this application exists, it's possible that they may feel more comfortable prescribing less expensive medications - the ones that are taken more than once a day. Please feel free to send us your comments on our web site: www.ontimerx.com. We'd love to hear from you. Thanks for trying (and hopefully buying) our software.
