MOBILE DEVICE REQUIREMENTS:
Installing Nutria
The file Nutria2.prc must be installed onto a handheld, running Palm OS version 3.1 or later, using
Palm's Desktop Software. To begin this task, open the Palm Desktop Software and click 'Install'. From
within the Install window click 'Add' to select the Nutria application. Once the Nutria2.prc file has
been located on the PC, press 'Open' then press 'Done'. The message on screen will indicate that the
selected application will be transferred to the handheld during the next HotSync.
Once the file is installed onto the handheld, locate and click the Nutria icon to run the application. To file Nutria under a specific category, prompt the menu bar from the Applications screen, press 'App' then select 'Categoryà'. Locate Nutria in the application list and use the popup list to set the new category.
NOTICE TO ALL USERS: If this application is an upgrade from a demo version, it is recommended that the demo be removed from your handheld's RAM prior to any new installations.
When both the Nutria application and databases are to be removed from the handheld's RAM, a hard-reset is required (see Palm Desktop Software Help topic "Installing and Removing Applications on Your Handheld"). Be aware that a hard-reset will clear all RAM of information, applications, and files currently stored on the handheld. To backup and then selectively restore the data in RAM, follow the instructions provided with Palm Desktop Software.
