-- Downloading Beer Master

You can download Beer Master at www.poohbah.com.

-- Unzipping

The file is a "zip" file. 
This is a compressed file that can be safely sent through email systems. 
When expanded, it becomes a directory containing the Beer Master application and read-me text files.
The Beer Master application has a file name that end in ".prc".
Most all file compression/expansion programs can un-zip (expand) a zip file. 

-- Installation

If you are replacing an older version of Beer Master,
do a standard HotSync before installing the newer version.
This saves a backup copy of your Beer Master database on your desktop computer.

To install the Beer Master application (file name ends with .prc):
1. Unzip the download.
2. Open the Palm Desktop program group and select the Palm Install Tool.
3. In the User Name drop-down menu, choose the User Name that corresponds to your Palm.
4. Click the Browse button and select the .prc file.
5. Click the Install button.
6. Click the Exit button.
7. Perform a local HotSync operation in the usual manner.
   Beer Master will be installed automatically during the course of the HotSync.

You will receive a registration number by email.

After receiving your registration number, do the following:

	Go to the Beer Master application on your Palm OS device.
	Tap the menu button.
	Tap the "Register" menu item under the "Options" menu.
	Enter the registration number in the space provided.
	Tap OK.

The registration number is your exclusive Beer Master identification.
