Object Catalog
The "Object Catalog" panel shows a list of deep-sky objects. Selecting an object will display a dialog containing information about that object.
Main Panel
The main panel displays the time controls, three buttons labelled "Select", "Find" and "Again". Below that is a scrolling list of the objects in the currently selected catalog. To display information about a particular object in the catalog, click on the object's name.

Object Position
Selecting the name of an object from the list opens a new dialog box containing information about that object:
- Magnitude
The brightness of the object.
- Size
The size of the object, in arc-seconds.
- Rise
The local time the object rises for the currently selected date.
- Set
The local time the object sets for the currently selected date.
- Right Asc, Declination
The position of the object, in celestial coordinates.
- Altitude, Azimuth
The position of the object, in local coordinates.

Selecting a catalog
Pressing the "Select" button opens the "Select Catalog" dialog. This dialog displays all the catalogs currently installed on your Palm. To open a catalog, select it, then press "Open". You can also use this dialog box to delete a catalog, but note that you cannot delete the catalog you are currently viewing.

Finding an object
Pressing the "Find" button opens the "Find Object" dialog. Enter the name, or part of the name, of the object you are looking for and press Okay. The object list will scroll to the next item containing that name. If you press the "Again" button, "Astro Info" will repeat the search.
