I.  INSTALLATION:

	1.  Add the files titled "NSRuntime.prc","Budgetit.prc", and "Mileage.prc" to your Palm
	interface installation software (i.e. Palm Desktop).

	2.  Run HotSync to download the programs to your PDA.

II.  USE:

	1.  Budgeting:
		A.  To set up a budget, you need to have a good idea of how much
		you spend on the catagories given in the software per month.
		
		B.  Deside how much money you want to be an upper limit for each of
		the topics listed.


	2.  Adding Budget information:
		A.  On the Budget Setup screen, select the budget catagory you want to
		set from the list box.
		
		B.  Set the upper limit of the catagory by entering in this amount in
		the text field provided and clicking "Click to Add Amount".

	3.  Adding new expenses to the budget:
		A.  On the Budget Setup screen, click the "Balances" to go to the Balances
		screen.
		
		B.  To add an expense, select the catagory from the popup box and 
		enter the amount of the expense, then click the "Add Expense" button.
		NOTE: Budgets do not allow for deposits because they are a strict money
		management system.  You are setting your income before you take away
		expenses by setting the upper limits for the catagories.

		C.  If you can't see the balance of a particular catagory, select the
		catagory from the popup box, then click the "Check Amount" button.

III.  MISC. NOTES:
	1.  The Budget replenishes every month.  So, at the end of each month, the software
	will reset the values of the catagories and you will start taking away expenses from
	the new amounts.

	2.  Starting up:  The program may seem slow starting up (i.e. your screen may go blank for
	about 2 seconds).  Don't panic, it is just loading the databases.  If you try, for some reason,
	to do another operation will this blank screen is up, you may cause the program to lock up.  This
	is because of the sensitivity in loading the programs databases.

	3.  

IV.  BUGS:
	1.  List boxes and popup boxes
		A.  When list boxes first pull up, they might appear to be empty, but
		all you have to do is click the scroll-down arrow in the box.
		
		B.  Popup boxes have the same problem and solution as list boxes.

V.  UPDATES:
	1.  PC Software:  SSD is currently developing a Windows interface to this program.
	This Windows applcation will allow you to manage your money on your PC and track it
	on your PDA.  Look for it in February at www.palmgear.com.
	
	2.  FREE UPDATES!!!:  If you would like to be kept up-to-date on all the new software for this program
	and others developed by SSD, send us an e-mail with your name and with a subject of "BudgetIt update request"
	to nskipper@mindspring.com.  We will send you updates to this software and free demos of other software
	every time something new comes out.  NOTE:  If the subject is not "BudgetIt Update request" or something similar,
	your request will not be accepted, but otherwise, there is no denial of the request.
