Changing the MSMQ Service User Account

You can change the account used by MSMQ using Control Panel.


To change the account the MSMQ service uses

  1. double-click Services on Control Panel.
  2. Click Microsoft Message Queue Service and click Startup.
  3. type the new user account in This Account.
  4. type the account password in Password and Confirm Password.
