Host Aliases

Assume there is a company with domain name company.com, and there are several different host in the company, for instance, www.company.com as a WWW server, and mail.company.com as the mail server. If you don't utilize "host alias" feature, all the email address must be ended with mail.company.com, such as ceo@mail.company.com, for example, but your CEO might not be happy to see this! He wants his email address to be ceo@company.com. To solve this question, you can add company.com to the host alias lists of MsgCore through MailCenter, and setup the DNS record, add a MX record to company.com, make mail.company.com as the Mail Exchange server of company.com. This procedure differs from DNS server, please lookup your manual or consult your ISP.
