The Psion Series 3a is packed with a host of 'organiser' features. However, as you might expect from the people who developed the concept in the first place, you'll find them far more advanced and useful than any other electronic organiser on the market.
WORLD INFORMATION
Want to know the time in Abidjan or Zurich? The World
display gives the current time (taking time zones into account) in over
500 towns and cities round the world, together with distances, sunrise
and sunset times, and the telephone dialling code from the 'home
town' - which you can select for wherever you are. And you can
add towns important to you.
SCIENTIFIC CALCULATOR
Accurate to ten decimal places, with a full range of scientific
functions, 10 nameable memories, a till-roll simulation to display
previous calculations and a full range of numeric formats. It will also
run functions created with the powerful built in programming language,
OPL.
ALARM CALLS
In addition to a 12 or 24 - hour clock that caters for four
different daylight saving zones, you get up to six customisable alarms
with optional daily, workday or weekly repeats and a 'snooze'
feature. As the Series 3a allows you to record and create your own
personal alarms, you can even wake up to the sound of a loved one.
SOUND BITE RECORDER
Use your Series 3a to record hurried messages and notes - and even
bursts of music - for playback at any time, or to use as a
personalised 'alarm sound'.
